So this happened. Not sure when, but we recently applied for the Telenet Kickstart program. An accelerator program organised by Telenet (a major Belgian telco operator) and after two qualifier rounds we are now part of the final 8 ideas in the program.
What does this mean. Well first, we receive some money (25 000 euros) to start building our idea. We get some intensive training by the people of Idealabs, Telenet and some partners. These give us access to knowledge and services that are hard to reach for small companies like HeyHey Apps. Anyway, really cool stuff. We will be spending a lot of time in Antwerp at Idealabs, so drop by if you feel like dropping by or if you want to have a coffee at coffeelabs.
About the idea. Well we had an idea for an app that we wanted to build with Eva Mouton, the idea is as simple as it gets; we want to build an app that can read a cat's mind. Sounds like a scam, doesn't it. Well, why don't you follow us to find out. Cat lover only, sorry.
Today is a good day to announce our next release, Eva Mouton pix. It is a collaboration between us and Belgian illustrator Eva Mouton. Eva is known for her weekly column in Belgian newspaper De Standaard and her cute and funny illustrations. We are thrilled to work with such a talented woman.
Eva Mouton Pix is a photo sticker app for iphone containing 90 stickers by Eva related to summer. The app will be your ideal partner this summer to pimp your holliday snapshots and share them with your friends.
Eva Mouton Pix will be available next wednesday, May 13th on the appstore. Enjoy.
There is this friend of mine, Jan. Jan has two sons and while his boys were growing up and playing with Lego, Jan got better at helping his boys building these Lego sets. Jan got so good in building stuff he tried building his own creations, large creations. When we released our first app, Jan discovered the work of Bué and noticed that is was well suited to build in Lego. Jan has been building great Bué and HeyHey Apps inspired things. Amazing stuff. Check these. BAM.
